crate bookshelves {repurposed – DIY}

I found these wooden crates a few months ago and used them with glass for an outdoor coffee table here. But then, my apartment building had the roof replaced and everything on the patio had to be broken down so I pulled them in and made some bookshelves with them. DIY repurposed crates as bookshelves.

It was great because I got to clear a bit of space from my studio/office corner and they look pretty rad in my living room area (in my opinion). My coffee table (a massive wooden crate) is near them, though, which made for some weird photo angles but hopefully you get the idea.

And, my pet fish Aretha sure seems to like the set-up, too. Cheers to the weekend!

    Making big mess in my milk house…new workshop. Keeping busy helps.

    • One of the lessons in Kleon’s books was to “chain smoke” – a metaphor he used for going from one project to the next, keeping momentum, keeping busy. Messes in the milk house are great – I think making a mess is better than no mess at all.
